Beatriz Goubert appointed intern at Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage

Ethnomusicology Ph.D. candidate Beatriz Goubert has been appointed as an intern at the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage during summer 2017. She will work with Smithsonian Folkways Recordings director and curator Huib Schippers on “Sound Futures,” a collaborative project on the cultural sustainability of music practices (soundfutures.org).
